In the year 1928 the founder started his investigation works and adquired a big number of oak barrels for the ageing of brandy. In 1.943 began to market these brandys and the rest of beverages produced according to the formulas that were tested and developed during this period.

Nowadays, DESTILERIAS CARTHAGO, is in the 14th position of the spanish ranking of companies of this sector due to its turnover and it keeps an upward curve, consolidating this situation in the market and adquiring a prestigious level with its new products, consequence of the investigation programs and technological development with regard to elaboration and its modern designs of bottles, labels in accordance with the presentation and actual and atractive image offered to consumers.

Several times, our company has been rewarded with prizes as: MERCURY PRIZE TO THE INDUSTRY, EXPORT PRIZE, SPANISH INSTITUTE OF THE PAKING AND BOTTLING PRIZE, this one due to the excellent and original presentation of our products.

In the same way, a quality management system has been implanted according to rule ISO 9001 UNE 66901/EN 29.001 to secure the quality.
